Why ?
This is Why ...
Growing up we saw movies and real media of tragedies that occurred In countries other than our own. We are taught in school that our country is a super power and no one can beat us based on the education we were taught. 9/11/2001 that became reality and it was no longer something that couldn’t happen to us.
Fast forward to present day and we now face a bigger tragedy no one ever thought would occur, but it did. I have my personal opinions on covid-19 and how it came about, but that’s not what this site is about.
As a First Responder myself, I also am a human being along with all the other First Responders out there doing their part to help you. Our families at home don’t deserve to become infected if we encounter someone who has been infected. First Responders are looked upon as super heroes and to many we are. There are others who frown upon First Responders and it’s their right to feel that way, but it does not give them or anyone else the right commit multiple crimes.
We the First Responders, took an oath to serve and protect and that we will do, but if we don’t protect ourselves we won’t be able to help and protect others. Invest in yourself, don’t wait for your dept to get you supplies. By the time supplies are given to you it may just be too late. I pray for all, go forth and stay safe
